Okanagan College offers versatile venues for trade shows, conferences, workshops, meetings, seminars, and weddings. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth booking process. Providing complete details in the request form helps our team allocate space efficiently, gather necessary information, and prepare accurate quotes.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Visit the Penticton Fitness Centre front desk located in the Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence PC146. 
Step 2: Bring your valid student ID.   
Step 3: Request the item you want to borrow.   
Step 4: Sign out the equipment with the Fitness Centre attendant.  
Step 5: Return the borrowed item before closing time on the same day. 
Step 6: Report any damage or issues when returning equipment. 

Return all items on time so that other students can enjoy them.

Q1: What equipment can I borrow?   
A1: Basketballs, volleyballs, badminton rackets, birdies, pickleball paddles, dodgeballs, and more. Equipment used while in the gymnasium or fitness centre does not require signing out. 
 
Q2: Is there a cost to borrow equipment?   
A2: No. Borrowing is free for students with an active Salto Card and Fitness Centre Pass. 
 
Q3: Do I have to stay on campus to use the equipment?   
A3: Yes. Items must remain within campus recreation spaces.

A4: No, the gymnasium and fitness centre are only available during scheduled hours. 

Q5: Where can I find the operational hours for the gymnasium and fitness centre?

A5: The schedule is posted online and outside the gymnasium and fitness centre doors.
